A compound pharmacy is one that mixes medications based on a single prescription as opposed to a mass-produced medication that is delivered to the retail pharmacy. Compound medications are used for people who have unique prescriptions, are prescribed a medication off-label, or for people who need liquid forms of medication because they have trouble swallowing pills.

1. To get started on your weight loss journey with Guice Global Medical you will want to make sure you are registered on our website, and you can schedule directly online from there.

2. Check your email for intake and consent forms to fill out prior to our phone call or zoom appointment.

3. Once you pay, I will order your medications.

The following tips will help your telehealth video consult run smoothly.

Note: You will receive an email with an access link to your virtual video consultation. You must click the link to start the virtual consult. Please do not wait for your provider to call you. Initial consultations last 10-20 minutes. You may opt out for a phone call instead of virtual video.

Before the start of your video medical consult:

  1. Test the technology before the visit.  Choose a private location with minimal background noise. You will want to be able to discuss your health care issues in private, free from distractions and interruptions.
  2. Find a well-lit location. Make sure there is good lighting so your health care provider can see your face clearly. Turn any music, television, or video games off for the duration of your appointment.
  3.  Make sure the camera is steady. Set your computer or laptop on a flat service or prop up your phone or tablet on a desk or table.
  4. Make sure you are in the middle of the screen and the camera is at eye level. What you see on your screen is the same thing the provider will see so it is important to make sure that you are close to the screen and looking straight into the camera.
  5. Close other applications on your device to improve your internet connection and reduce distractions.
  6.  Stay focused. Try to avoid eating or drinking during your appointment. Do not do a telehealth visit while you are driving, exercising, or running errands..
  7. Please be on time. Patients should be punctual and ready to start the virtual consultation on time.

You can schedule a week prior to your last consultation date or beginning of last week of medication.

Orders are usually processed within 7 business days of payment of your invoice. However, delivery times may vary depending on date of your telehealth appointment, types of medications ordered, and medication supply. Look out for an email from the pharmacy within 24 hours of when your medication will be shipped.

No, we do not take payments over the phone.

I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm, and Saturday 10am-12pm.

Tirzepatide and Semaglutide should be kept cold and stored in the refrigerator.

Yes, Injections can expire.  It is important to look for the expiration data on your prescription bottle.

The injections are given subcutaneously. Suggested places to inject include the front of your waist (abdomen), the front of your thighs or your upper arms. It is recommended that you rotate your injection site each time you inject.

You may stop the medication altogether but some patients continue to take maintenance doses every 2-4 weeks to maintain appetite suppression.

You may take tirzepatide up to 48 hours early. You are more likely to get side effects when taking the medication early.

We are currently in the process of obtaining licenses in other states.

Currently, Louisiana residents.

Constipation and stomach upset are common side effects but generally manageable with over the counter medications. Remember to eat slowly and smaller portions. Overeating will cause you to have more stomach upset. Contact me if you are worried about symptoms.

No. Unfortunately the only way to determine if you are a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy is through a blood test.

Unfortunately not. As convenient, as these tests may be there is no way to track and confirm the identity of the one that took the blood test. Verification is necessary when it comes to blood draws and prescribing medications. Home tests cannot provide that type of verification.

Labs are not included in the price of the TRT plans. That is because unlike other clinics, we give patients the choice to provide us with labs or, they can run labs through us. Our lab fee is only $129.

Our lab panel consists of:

  • Total Testosterone
  • CBC
  • CMP
  • Estradiol
  • PSA (for patients over the age of 40)

We require bloodwork after the first 10 weeks of treatment and every 6 months thereafter. The 10-week labs are very important to determine how the patient is responding to the medication and to assess if any changes need to be made to the program.

We currently do not accept insurance, all services are self-pay. This helps us keep our overhead to a minimum so that we can pass those savings onto you.

Shipping and syringes are included in cost. We ship via FedEx Priority overnight with ice packs to keep injections nice and cool and ground shipping for non-refrigerated items.

At Guice Global Medical we only offer prescription grade supplements compounded and formulated at our partnering FDA-regulated compounding pharmacies. Because these are prescription supplements, they can only be given to the person listed on the prescription supplement vial and cannot be returned.

I recommend a digital bathroom scale to measure body fat and muscle mass in order to see the trends in your body composition. I recommend daily weigh-ins to help create mindfulness and allow you to make quick corrections to your diet and exercise.

I recommend using a weight loss app such as Noom, Lose it!, or MyFitnessPal for the same reason we weigh daily. Noom is geared toward helping overcome emotional aspects related to eating. Calculate how many calories you should be consuming based on your activity level, gender age and height. You would never drive cross-country without checking your gas gauge, would you? Same with tracking calories. If you aren't paying attention, how will you get to your goal?

There is NO GUARANTEE that you will be written a prescription, this is based on the medical advice of our medical provider and what they deem is best for your health. Please be aware that lost, misplaced, or stolen prescriptions can NOT be replaced due to the controlled nature of the medications.

Please note, you may not qualify if you suffer from hypertension, cardiac illness, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or if you are pregnant or nursing, as you may not be healthy enough for this type of treatment.

If you do qualify for our Semaglutide and Tirzepatide weight loss injection program, then we cant wait to help you on path to weight loss.
